Toyota Prius AWD-e is a hybrid electric vehicle. It was originally part of the fourth generation of the Toyota Prius that came out in 2016, one built on a modular platform called Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA). Prius AWD-e itself came out in 2019. It was and still is essentially Toyota Prius LE or Prius XLE, but with an AWD-e (all-wheel drive) system and a standalone electric motor built into the vehicle's rear multilink suspension.

By 2021, features would range widely, from a blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, and parking sensors to SofTex faux-leather seats (which one can get heated up front), 17-inch alloy wheels, an included cargo cover, and more.
