Your factory Toyota Celica engine has many different parts, and they all work together to generate the power your sports car uses to run. The main part of every motor is its block. It's got pistons that pump to pressurize air and fuel for combustion as well as move your crankshaft, plus a cylinder head to seal off and contain the combustion process. A cylinder head has intake and exhaust valves that adjust airflow, fuel measures, and exhaust gases within the head. A camshaft helps ensure both valves open and close at the right times relative to other engine parts. Spark plugs, though, are what ignite that fuel-and-air mix in the first place, releasing power. That crankshaft converts that power to rotary motion, and your driveshaft and transmission transfer the motion to your tires, making them turn. Many other engine parts original to your Toyota Celica participate in the process, too. There's an engine oil pan or oil sump attached to the engine, for example; it stores motor oil, which engine parts use for lubrication. Others, like gears, sprockets, rings, and bearings, ensure everything fits properly. Sooner or later, unfortunately, they all wear out, resulting in trouble starting, stalls, idling and acceleration issues, and even declining fuel efficiency. Look for these signs alongside a lit Check Engine indicator on your dash. When it's time to order the best replacements for a fix, choose the genuine article. Toyota Celica engine parts made by your manufacturer will fit and work best. You can order them online, right from our auto parts counter. Buy now and save!
